Famous for their illustration, web design, fonts and toys, eBoy have an international cult following. They create re-usable pixel objects and use them to build complex and extendable artwork.

The eBoy world is unique, populated by robots, cars, guns and girls, all built up out of thousands of pixels. Inspired by popular culture--shopping, supermarkets, televisions, LEGO, computer games--eBoy's imagery is colourful, funny, subversive and startlingly original.

eBoy's trademark eCities are inspired by a love of buildings and architecture and the challenge of endlessly recombining different urban elements, these are painstakingly detailed and abound with monsters, seedy bars and cinemas.

Consisting of members Steffen Sauerteig, Svend Smital and Kai Vermehr, the eBoy collective was founded in 1998 as a channel to explore the three men’s shared interest in the burgeoning pixel art movement.

eBoy has worked with many top brands, The New York Times, Nike, Coca-Cola, and Honda are only a few of the hundred plus companies eBoy has created pixel art for.
