Using sensuous materials like bronzing powder and mineral pigments mixed with her oils, Ivy creates richly iridescent paintings that convey the beauty and mystery of the natural world. Ivy delves into her imagination to create fantastic new flora and fauna, organic forms that speak of nature's infinite possibilities.
Ivy studied painting and printmaking at the San Francisco Art Institute and San Francisco State University from which she received a bachelor’s degree. Her paintings have been exhibited throughout the United States, including San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, and beyond. She has gained collectors worldwide.
Ivy currently lives in Oakland, California and works in her studios in Oakland and San Francisco.
